Fleets & Brokers Chose TRANSFLO
Express® in 2009
Small Carriers and Mega-Fleets Among
New Subscribers
Tampa, Fla. – February 4, 2010 -- Pegasus
TransTech announced that it signed hundreds of new fleet and brokerage
customers for TRANSFLO Express®
truck stop scanning in 2009, the worst recessionary year for trucking in
memory. In fact, fleets and brokers signed up at the highest rate since
TRANSFLO Express launched in 2002.
“We believe the adoption of TRANSFLO Express
indicates carriers large and small understood that in times like these
profit is more likely to come from honing efficiencies and speeding cash
flow than from expanding the business,” said Bob Helms, chairman and CEO
of Pegasus TransTech.
Among the carriers adopting TRANSFLO Express
last year were some of the largest, best known fleets in the country.
They included Schneider National, Swift Transportation, U.S. Xpress,
CRST Van Expedited, Prime, Covenant Transport, Southern Cal Transport,
and Raven Transport among many others. Pegasus TransTech now counts 27
of the nation’s top 35 truckload carriers among its customers, including
Crete Carrier Corp., J.B. Hunt Transport, Heartland Express, Knight
Transportation, C.R. England, and five of the largest brokers. New
brokerage customers in 2009 included Top 10 brokers Total Transportation
and Trinity Transport.
With TRANSFLO
Express, drivers can simply hand their delivery documents to a trained
fuel desk attendant for scanning at more than 540 truck stop locations
nationwide. In seconds, these documents are sent electronically to the
fleet or broker for immediate billing and payroll processing. TRANSFLO
Express cuts days from the billing cycle and allows fleets, brokers, and
drivers to get paid faster.

demand bumps up against available capacity, the carriers that worked
